    Solution :

     The equation of plane passing through the point\[(1,2,-1)\]is \[a(x-1)+b(y-2)+c(z+1)=0\] ...(i) Since, this plane is parallel to \[x-y+2z=0\] \[\therefore \] \[a=1,b=-1,\,c=2\] From Eq. (i), \[1(x-1)-1(y-2)+2(z+1)=0\] \[\Rightarrow \] \[x-y+2z+3=0\]
