Deficiency of vitamin-C (ascorbic acid) leads to disease scurvy. Deficiency of vitamin-K (phylloquinone) causes haemorrhage. Deficiency of vitamin-A (retinol) cause xerophthalmia, night blindness, keratomalacia, retarded growth, etc.
