    In an adiabatic process                 \[p{{V}^{\gamma }}=\]constant Using ideal gas equation,\[pV=RT\] \[\therefore \]  \[\left( \frac{RT}{V} \right){{V}^{\gamma }}=\]constant or            \[T{{V}^{\gamma -1}}=\]constant                                             (as\[R\] is a gas constant)
