    Solution :

    An electric dipole is a system formed by two equal and opposite point charges placed at a short distance apart. The product of one charge and the distance between the charges is called electric dipole moment. The electric dipole moment is a vector quantity whose direction is along the axis of the dipole pointing from the negative charge to the positive charge. The direction of electric field is from positive charge to negative charge. As is clear from the figure, the direction of electric field intensity at a point on the equatorial line of the dipole is opposite to the direction of dipole moment. Hence, angle between them is\[{{180}^{o}}\].
