Downs syndrome (mongolian idiocy) is a congenital disorder caused by trisomy of chromosome 21, often by non-disjunction. It is characterised by mental retardation, simian palm, as mongoloid facial features. Turners syndrome is due to monosomy of sex chromosome, i.e., XO. It was described by Turner 1938. Colour blindness is a recessive sex linked (X) trait in which affected individual can not distinguish red colour from green colour. Klinefelters syndrome is due to an extra X-chromosome to man (male), i.e., trisomy of sex chromosome.
