In a common emitter amplifier circuit using an n-p-n transistor, the phase difference between the input and the output voltages will be:    JEE Main Solved Paper-2017

    A) \[{{135}^{o}}\]

    B) \[{{180}^{o}}\]

    C)  \[{{45}^{o}}\]

    D) \[{{90}^{o}}\]

    Correct Answer: B

    Solution :

In common emitter amplifier circuit input and output voltage are out of phase. When input voltage is increased then \[{{i}_{b}}\] is increased,\[{{i}_{c}}\] also increases so voltage drop across\[{{R}_{c}}\]is increased. However increase in voltage across \[{{R}_{C}}\]is in opposite sense.
