     Medulla   oblongata   (myelencephalon) forms  most of the ventral part of hind brain. It contains control centres of such vital physiological processes as breathing, heart beat, vasodilation metabolism, vasoconstriction, prey catching and certain other involuntary activities. Cerebellum maintain posture, orientation and  equilibrium of body by coordinating and regulating tone and contraction of voluntary muscle mainly according to commonds of cerebrum. Hypothalamus   is   ventral   part   of diencephalon and is the control centre of autonomic nervous system (hunger, thirst, sweating, sleep, temperature, sex   and emotions). Rhinecephalon   (olfactory   region) includes  two small and separate olfactory lobes. This is the centre of smell.
