    Solution :

    Here,\[a=\frac{f}{m}=\frac{4}{20}=\frac{1}{5}m/{{s}^{2}}\] Distance travelled by body in 3rd second                 \[{{S}_{3rd}}=0+\frac{1}{5\times 2}(2\times 3-1)=0.5\,\,m\] Hence, work done, \[W=f\times {{S}_{3rd}}=4\times 0.5=25\,\,J\]
