                    \[i=\frac{E}{R+r}\] \[P={{i}^{2}}R\] \[P=\frac{{{E}^{2}}R}{{{(r+R)}^{2}}}\]      Power will be maximum when \[r=R\]                 \[{{p}_{\max }}=\frac{{{E}^{2}}}{4r}\]
