A solenoid of length 0.6 m has a radius of \[1\text{ }cm\] and is made up of 600 turns. It carries a current of \[6\text{ }A\]. What is the magnitude of the magnetic field inside the solenoid?

    A)  \[7.54\times {{10}^{-3}}T~\]

    B)  \[10.84\times {{10}^{-3}}\,\,T\]

    C)  \[4.87\times {{10}^{-3}}\,\,T\]

    D)  \[2.36\times {{10}^{-2}}\,\,T\]

    Correct Answer: A

    Solution :

    Given,      \[I=0.6\,m\] \[r=1\,cm\] \[N=600\] \[i=6A\] \[\Rightarrow \] \[{{B}_{inside}}={{\mu }_{0}}ni\] \[=4\pi \times {{10}^{-7}}\times \frac{600}{0.6}\times 6\] \[=4\pi \times {{10}^{-7}}\times 36\times {{10}^{3}}\] \[=7.54\times {{10}^{-3}}\,T\]
