    Solution :

    Diabetes insipidus is caused due to hyposecretion of Anti Diuretic Hormone. ADH controls reabsorption of water in DCT in kidney. Decrease in blood sugar level is known as hypoglyceinia. Increase in blood sugar level (hyperglycemia) so much that it is excreted in the urine, the condition is known as diabetes mellitus.
