                    Conventional Method Amount of milk in the odd mixture\[=40\times \frac{90}{100}=36\,L\] This 36 L is (100 - 20) = 80% of the new mixture = 36 L \[\therefore \]100% of new mixture\[=\frac{36}{80}\times 100=45\,L.\] \[\therefore \] (45 - 40) = 5 L of water must be added
