    C) 13

    D) 15

    Correct Answer: D

    Solution :

    Sol.      [d]
Let the number of gold coins in first bag be x.
Number of gold coins in second bag is
    \[=\,x\,+\frac{x}{3}\,=\,\frac{4x}{3}\]
    According to the question,
    \[\frac{4x}{3}-x=5\Rightarrow \frac{x}{3}=5\Rightarrow x=15\]
Number of gold coins in the first bag is 15.
