    Ans.     Average monthly income of the family of 5 members is Rs 100. So, total monthly income of the family = 5 x 1000 Rs 5000 Now the income of one person is increased by Rs 12000 per year i.e., Rs 100 per month So, total new monthly income of the family = 5000 + 1000 Rs 6000 So, average monthly income \[\frac{6000}{5}\] Rs 1200
