    Solution :

    Given  \[{{v}_{1}}=300vib/s.\] Let         \[{{l}_{1}}=l,\] \[\therefore \]  \[{{l}_{2}}=3l\]                 \[{{T}_{1}}=T,\] \[\therefore \]  \[{{T}_{2}}=4T\]                 \[{{v}_{1}}=\frac{1}{2l}\sqrt{\frac{T}{m}}=330\] ?.(i) In second case                 \[{{v}_{2}}=\frac{1}{2{{l}_{2}}}\sqrt{\frac{{{T}_{2}}}{m}}=\frac{1}{2(3l)}\sqrt{\frac{4T}{m}}\]                 \[{{v}_{2}}=\frac{2}{3}\times \frac{1}{2l}\sqrt{\frac{T}{m}}\]                 \[=\frac{2}{3}{{v}_{1}}\]                 \[=\frac{2}{3}\times 330=220Hz\]
