    Solution :

    Luteinizing  hormone  (LH)  is  also  a glycoprotein whose molecules contain a poly peptide of 204 amino acid residues. In men, it stimulates the growth and function of the interstitial cells of testes (cells of Leydig), which secrete the male hormones (androgens) to regulate the development of secondary sexual characteristics. In women, it stimulates the last stage of oogenesis, ovulation, development of corpus luteum and secretion of progesterone by corpus luteum.
