Malarial parasite, ie, Plasmodium completes its -re-cycle in two hosts. When female Anopheles mosquito sucks the blood of infected person it ingests erythrocvres present in the form of gametocytes. The outer envelope of gametocytes is dissolved and its contents are liberated freely into gut. These contents undergo gametes formation, ie, first sexual phase, ie, gametogony.
