    French scientist de-Broglie suggest that a  moving small particle (like electron, proton  etc.) has the properties of a wave. wavelength \[(\lambda )\] of the moving particle ma calculated from the following equation                                                 \[\lambda =\frac{h}{mv}\]                                                 \[\lambda =\frac{h}{p}\]                              [ \[\because \] \[p=mv\]] where, m = mass, v = velocity \[\lambda \] = wavelength of the moving particle P or mv = the momentum of the particle.
