    Solution :

    Given,  \[G=100\Omega ,\] \[{{I}_{g}}=10\times {{10}^{-3}}A,\] \[I=100\times {{10}^{-3}}A\] \[S=?\] \[\therefore \] Shunt  \[S=\frac{{{I}_{g}}G}{I-{{I}_{g}}}\]                 \[=\frac{10\times {{10}^{-3}}\times 100}{(100-10)\times {{10}^{-3}}}\]                 \[=11.11\Omega \] Shunt is to be connected in parallel with the  galvanometer.
