    A)  Only \[ZnS\] precipitates

    B)  Both \[CuS\] and \[ZnS\] precipitate

    C)  Only \[CuS\] precipitates

    D)  No precipitation occurs

    Correct Answer: B

    Solution :

    The ionic product for \[ZnS\,(0.1\times 8.1\times {{10}^{-19}})\]and for \[CuS\,(0.01\times 8.1\times {{10}^{-19}})\] exceeds their \[{{K}_{sp}}\]  values. Hence, both get precipitated.
