    Solution :

    The angle between the lines is given by \[\tan \theta =\left| \frac{2\sqrt{{{h}^{2}}-ab}}{a+b} \right|\] Here we have \[h=-1/2,\text{ }a=1,\text{ }b=-6\] \[\therefore \]  \[\tan \theta =\left| \frac{2\sqrt{\frac{1}{4}+6}}{1-6} \right|=\frac{2\sqrt{\frac{25}{4}}}{-5}=\,|-1|\] \[\therefore \]  \[\theta ={{\tan }^{-1}}(1)={{45}^{o}}\]
