    Equation of parabola \[{{(y-2)}^{2}}=16(x-1)\]                 \[{{(y-k)}^{2}}=4a(x-h)\] comparing \[h=1,k=2\]\[4a=16\Rightarrow a=4.\] Therefore vertex of the parabola\[=(1,2).\]
