    Glomerular filterate is

    A)  formed continuously by the process of ultrafiltration occurring at Malpighian corpuscles, in which the blood cells and the colloidal macromolecules are not allowed to pass across the filtering surface

    B)  the lipid free fluid collected within the human of Bowmans capsule

    C)  the protein free fluid collects within the lumen of Bowmans capsule

    D)  Formed by the process of selective reabsorption

    Correct Answer: A

    Solution :

Water and many dissolved substances from the blood are filtered into the lumen of the Bowmans capsule through giomerular filtration. The giomerular filtrate contains a large amount of water and other dissolved substances such as urea, uric acid, glucose, amino acids, vitamins etc. Giomerular filtrate does not have proteins and fats. From the Bowmans capsule the giomerular filtrate enter the proximal convoluted tubule. Absorption of selected material takes place from the filtrate into the blood of the peritubular capillaries.
