    In some animals and man some genes for non-sexual characters being linked with sex-chromosome and carried with them from generation to generation. This is called sex linked inheritance. Haemophilia and colourblindness are sex-linked inherited diseases. In haemophilia (bleeders disease) the blood fails to clot even in small skin injury and can lead to death. Albinisin, sickle cell anaemia and phenyl ketonuria are autosomal recessive mutation disease. Albinism is due to tyrosinase deficiency which converts the amino acid tyrosine to melanin. Sickle cell anaemia in due to mutated gene \[H{{b}^{S}}\] which produces sickle cell haemoglobin. Phenylketonuria is caused due to deficiency of livers enzyme phenylalanine hydroxylase that converts phenylalanine into tyrosine.
