    Plasmodium (malaria parasite) is digenetic i.e., completed life cycle on two hosts (man and mosquito). The asexual cycle completed in man, which ends with formation of gametocytes. The sexual cycle completed in female Anopheles mosquito and involves gametogony and sporogony. It ends with the formation of sporozoites. The pathogen/which completed its life cycle in one host is called, monogenetic e.g., Entamoeba.
