Loop of Henie is associated with:

    A)  uriniferous tubules

    B)  seminiferous tubules

    C)  neurons

    D)  muscle fibres

    Correct Answer: A

    Solution :

Uriniferous tubules or nephrons are structural and functional units of kidney. Each nephron consists of Malpighian, corpuscle and renal tubule. The renal tubule consists of proximal convoluted tubule, loop of HenIe and distal convoluted tubule. Each testicular lobule of the testes contains two or three seminiferous tubules. Spermatids are formed in seminiferous tubules. Neurons (nerve cells) are functional units of nervous system. Based on function the neuron may be sensory motor and association (mixed). Each skeletal muscle consists of numerous muscle fibres. Each muscle fibre is elongate and syncytial. Its membrane is called, sarcolemma.
