    Key Idea: Mass can be converted into energy through mass energy equivalence relation. From Einsteins mass energy relation the energy is given by                                 \[E=\Delta m{{c}^{2}}\] where c is speed of light. Given, \[E=40\times {{10}^{6}}\,kWh\]                 \[=40\times {{10}^{6}}\times 36\times {{10}^{5}}\,J\] \[\therefore \]                  \[\Delta m=\frac{E}{{{c}^{2}}}=\frac{4\times 36\times {{10}^{12}}}{{{(3\times {{10}^{8}})}^{2}}}\]                                 \[=16\times {{10}^{-4}}\,kg\] \[\Rightarrow \]               \[\Delta m=1.6\,g\]
