Which one of the following forms of RNAs is involved in receiving the message of genetic code from DNA for translation during protein synthesis?

    A)  \[rRNA\]

    B)  \[mRNA\]

    C)  \[tRNA\]

    D)  all of these.

    Correct Answer: B

    Solution :

: Messenger RNA (m-RNA) is produced by DNA template in the nucleus and moves out into the cytoplasm with the coded information from DNA to produce specific proteins. Ribosomal RNA (r-RNA) remains attached to ribosomes and helps in protein synthesis. Soluble RNA or transfer RNA (s-RNA, t-RNA) is found in cytoplasm and is of different types. These are smaller molecules and transfer different types of amino acids to ribosomes, where they take part in protein synthesis.
