    Solution :

    The refracting angle of prism \[A={{r}_{1}}+{{r}_{2}}\] For minimum deviation                 \[{{r}_{1}}={{r}_{2}}=r\] \[\therefore \]  \[A=2r\] or            \[r=\frac{A}{2}=\frac{{{60}^{o}}}{2}={{30}^{o}}\]
