    \[\because \]\[1\left| \begin{matrix}    1 & \alpha  & 3  \\    1 & 3 & 3  \\    2 & 4 & 4  \\ \end{matrix} \right|1=|A{{|}^{2}}={{4}^{2}}\] \[2\alpha -6=16\]                             \[\therefore \] \[\alpha =11.\]
