If C is mid-point of AB and P is the origin, then \[PC=\frac{PA+PB}{2}\] Let P be the origin outside of AB and C be mid - point of AB, then \[PC=\frac{PA+PB}{2}\Rightarrow 2PC=PA+PB\]
