    Solution :

    The equation of parabola is                    \[{{y}^{2}}+4y+4x+2=0\] \[\Rightarrow \]   \[{{y}^{2}}+4y+4=-4x-2+4\] \[\Rightarrow \]   \[{{(y-2)}^{2}}=-4\left( x-\frac{1}{2} \right)\] Let \[y+2=Y\]and \[x-\frac{1}{2}=x\] \[\therefore \]     \[{{Y}^{2}}=-4x\] Here, \[a=1\] \[\therefore \] Equation of directrix is \[x=1\]. \[\Rightarrow \]   \[x-\frac{1}{2}=1\Rightarrow x=\frac{3}{2}\]
