The capacity of vessel A is 20% more than B and the capacity of C is 25% more than A. Vessel A, B and C contain mixture of milk and water in the ratio of \[\text{3}:2,7:3\] and \[11:4\] respectively. If they are mixed together then what will be the ratio of milk and water in the new mixture?

    A)  \[13:10\]

    B)  \[126:59\]

    C)  \[121:60\]

    D)  \[119:57\]

    Correct Answer: B

    Solution :

Suppose Bs capacity is \[100\,l\] then, As capacity \[=120\,l\] Cs capacity \[=150\,l\] Total milk \[=\frac{3}{5}\times 120+\frac{7}{10}\times 100+\frac{11}{15}\times 150\] \[=72+70+110=252\,l\] Total quantity of water \[=(120100+150)-252=118\,l\] Required ratio \[=252:\,118=\]
