    Solution :

    Let second number = x \[\therefore \] First number = 2x and third number = 4x According to question, \[56=\frac{2x+x+4x}{3}\] \[\Rightarrow \]   \[x=\frac{56\times 3}{7}=24\] \[\therefore \] Required difference \[=4x-2x\] \[\,=2x=2\times 24=48\]
