    CP of each article\[=\,\,Rs.\,\frac{P}{12}\] and \[SP=Rs.\,\frac{P}{8}\]          Gain\[=\frac{P}{8}-\frac{P}{12}=\frac{3P-2P}{24}=Rs.\,\,\frac{P}{24}\] \[\therefore \]      Gain per cent \[=\frac{\frac{P}{24}}{\frac{P}{12}}\times 100=50%\]
