    Let the marked price of the geyser be Rs. 100. \[CP=Rs.\,\,\frac{9}{10}\times 100=Rs.\,\,90\] and \[SP=108%\,\,of\,\,Rs.100=\,\,Rs.\left( \frac{108}{100}\times 100 \right)=\,\,Rs.\,\,108\]Gain = Rs. \[(108-90)=\,\,Rs.\,\,18\] Gain per cent\[=\left( \frac{18}{90}\times 100 \right)=20%\]
