    Solution :

    Original fraction \[=\frac{x}{y}\] Given, \[\frac{x\left( 100+20 \right)}{y\left( 100+25 \right)}=\frac{3}{5}\] \[\Rightarrow \]   \[\frac{x\times 24}{y\times 25}=\frac{3}{5}\] \[\therefore \]      \[\,\frac{x}{y}=\frac{3}{5}\times \frac{25}{24}=\frac{5}{8}\]
