    Solution :

     If the C.P. of 1 purse by Rs. \[x\] and that of 1 wallet be Rs. \[y\], then \[30x+20y=8500\] Dividing both sides by 10, we have \[\Rightarrow \] \[3x+2y=850\] Multiplying both sides by 39. \[117x+78y=850\,\,\,\,\,39\] =Rs. \[33150\]
