    Solution :

     \[x+x+2+x+4+x+6+x+8=170\]      \[\Rightarrow \] \[5x+20=170\]      \[\Rightarrow \] \[5x=170-20=150\]      \[\therefore \] \[x=\frac{150}{5}=30\] \[\therefore \] Second largest number \[=x+6=36\] \[\therefore \] Required Sum \[=36+{{30}^{2}}=36+900=936\]
