    Solution :

     Let the number be \[x\]. According to the question,     \[{{x}^{2}}+{{51}^{2}}=15826\]  \[\Rightarrow \] \[{{x}^{2}}+2601=15826\]  \[\Rightarrow \] \[{{x}^{2}}=15826-2601\]   \[=\text{ }13225\]  \[\therefore \] \[x=\sqrt{13225}=115\]
