    Solution :

     B's 1 day's work \[=\frac{1}{10}+\frac{1}{16}=\frac{13}{80}\] Now, (A + B)'s 1 day's work\[=\frac{1}{16}+\frac{13}{80}=\frac{18}{80}=\frac{9}{40}\]  [B works for half day only] So, A and B together will complete the work in \[\frac{9}{40}\]days.
