    Solution :

     Let the Numbers be \[7x,\,\,8x,\] and \[9x\]then,     \[49{{x}^{2}}+64{{x}^{2}}+81{{x}^{2}}=3424\]               \[\Rightarrow \] \[214{{x}^{2}}=3424\]     \[\Rightarrow \] \[{{x}^{2}}=16\] \[\Rightarrow \]\[x=4\]     \[\therefore \]Sum of numbers \[=(7x+8x+9x)\]              \[=24x\]                           \[=(24\times 4)=96.\]
