     Let the numbers be 2\[x\], 4\[x\] and 6\[x\] Then, 2\[x\] + 6\[x\] = 4\[x\] + 64 \[\Rightarrow \] \[8x=4x+64\] \[\Rightarrow \] \[4x=64\]             \[\Rightarrow \]\[x=16\] \[\therefore \]  the smallest number \[=2\times 16\]\[=32.\]
