    Solution :

    [b] Let 1, 5 and C take x days, \[\frac{x}{2}\]days.\[\frac{x}{3}\] days respectively to finish a piece of work \[\Rightarrow \,\,\frac{1}{x}+\frac{2}{x}+\frac{3}{x}=\frac{1}{2}\]or \[x=12\]. \[\therefore \] B will take \[\frac{12}{2}\] i.e. 6 days to finish the work alone.
