    Solution :

    Q is 9th from the right end and R is 4th to the left of Q, so R is 13th from the right end. Number of children to the left of P. = 40 - 13 =27. Thus R is 28th from the left end. Also P is 13th from the left-end. Clearly there are 14 children between P and R.
