    Macrophages    are    modified    monocytes. Macrophages present in blood, induces Antigen- antibody complex formation. Antigens entering in blood stream are first caught by the macrophages and served to T-lymphocytes. Antigens have specific antigenic determinant sites, which are recognised   by   receptors   present   on   T- dymphocytes. This activates specific immune reaction.
