    Law of conservation of charge \[{{\operatorname{Q}}_{1}}+{{Q}_{2}}=Q\] \[{{\operatorname{C}}_{1}}{{V}_{1}}+{{\operatorname{C}}_{2}}{{V}_{2}}=\left( {{\operatorname{C}}_{1}}+{{C}_{2}} \right){{\operatorname{V}}_{common}}\] \[20\times 500+10\times 200=\left( 20+10 \right){{V}_{e}}\]          \[30{{V}_{e}} = 12000\] \[{{\operatorname{V}}_{e}}=400V\]
