          Efficiency of carnot engine, \[\eta =1-\frac{{{T}_{2}}}{{{T}_{1}}}\] In I case   \[0.4=1-\frac{{{T}_{2}}}{500}\] \[\Rightarrow \]               \[\frac{{{T}_{2}}}{500}=1-0.4\] \[\Rightarrow \]               \[{{T}_{2}}=500\times 0.6={{300}^{o}}K\] In II case     \[0.5=1-\frac{300}{T_{1}^{'}}\] \[\Rightarrow \]               \[\frac{300}{T{{'}_{1}}}=1-0.5\] \[\Rightarrow \]               \[T_{1}^{'}=\frac{300}{0.5}={{600}^{o}}K\]
