    Solution :

    From relation,   \[i{{\mu }_{p}}=\frac{{{\mu }_{i}}}{{{\mu }_{p}}}\] Here          \[{{\mu }_{liquid}}=1.32,\,{{\mu }_{prism}}=1.56\]             \[{{\mu }_{p}}=\frac{1.32}{1.56}=\frac{11}{13}\]                      ?.(i) Also, total internal reflection, occurs if             \[\sin \theta \ge i{{\mu }_{p}}\]             \[\sin \theta \ge \frac{11}{13}\]
