    \[{{U}_{total}}\] for \[\left( 4+\frac{1}{2} \right)\] mole \[=4\times \frac{3}{2}RT+\frac{1}{2}\times \frac{5}{2}RT=\frac{29}{4}RT\] \[{{U}_{total}}\] for \[1\,mole=\frac{29}{18}RT\] then \[{{({{C}_{v}})}_{mix}}=\frac{29}{18}R\] and  \[{{({{C}_{p}})}_{mix}}={{({{C}_{v}})}_{mix}}+R=\frac{29}{18}R+R=\frac{47}{18}R\] so \[{{y}_{mix}}=\frac{{{C}_{pmix}}}{{{C}_{vmix}}}=\frac{47}{29}=1.62\]
